Church Open Wednesdays

Church Open

We are opening the church as often as possible on weekdays.  We hope eventually to be open every day.

Church sitters offer a welcome and a coffee to  visitors.  Leaflets on forthcoming events and the history of the church will be available. Church Open days will be listed on the notice board outside the church every week. At present the church is always open on:

WEDNESDAYS 10.30am-12.30pm
refreshments available
Everyone is welcome to come along and look round the building or simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity. If the church is closed when you would like to visit please e mail and arrangements can be made for a visit.

Since Father Clive passed away, church services continue on Saturdays at 7.30am and on Sundays at 10am with the support of many priests. St Anselm’s values catholic traditions within the Church of England and with the use of incense and beautiful vestments, it is a very special place of worship. There are ‘arts & crafts’ stained glass windows designed by Louis Davies and Selwyn Image in Whitefriars Glass, Hatch End’s WWI memorial and many other fine features.  A booklet on the history of the church is available.  If you are unable to join us for the service, after the Sunday Eucharist at 11am, everyone, of whatever race or creed, is welcome to enjoy a visit to our impressive Victorian church.
